Christmas 2012

Here are some of the screenshots I took during the 2012 Christmas event.

With Wero and her butterfly pet, the snowman pet at the background, and the red butterfly that flew just above Nutiki's head (I wonder whose pet that is).

This is the tree that the puppets decorated.  I'm happy to have helped in the process.

Nutiki with tree guardians Gateau (left) and Chocolat (right).

Tower 2 boss fight aftermath.  We had to fight two humongous monsters, the Basilisk twin and the huge Yeti (not sure with the name hoho).  With (from L to R) Kkeijit, TaroPie, (can't remember), Chrissy, Ryuzo, (can't remember too), (someone at the back whose name I can't remember too, sorry!), and Nutiki.

New Players! Underground Kingdom, long ago

So Take A Look At Me Now!

So, you've been battling all these monsters ever since you became a guardian, and after a while the image of every vicious monster in the field is stuck in your mind.  But have you ever taken a closer look on these extra-monsters that lurk within the castle walls?  (This post is inspired by Blackmintz's Guess What Contest.)

1. Our Fellow Red Fowl in Tower I
Because that quirky-looking old owl is not the only one who deserves to be in the limelight.

2. The little arachnids in our (once) favorite tower, Tower II.

かわいいね!!!

That's it for now and don't forget to spot these extra-monsters when you tower these places.  And try to spot more extra-monsters on the other towers too.  Ciao!

Rope Making

Last time I checked Carpenter's Guild (that was some three weeks ago), it only had less than 150 magical ropes.  And when I went to donate another one from my collection, I was really surprised to see how big the progress was when I was not running in the Kingdom of the Splendor Mythos.  Great job, little puppet friends!

Some Happy Moments

Surely each one of us has collected a box of funny, happy, or simply unforgettable experiences while playing Puppet Guardian.  Here's some of what I have, in no particular order (but I will have to limit it to those which I have a supplementing photo).

Numero Uno:
I'm a bit new here, probably a player for two months (notice how slow I evolve to something better).  This was one of the very first photo I took and I didn't know how to use the PrintScreen option then (oh how lame hahaha).  Okay, so this photo is special because Soleiyu is there.  Well, for those of you who do not know, Soleiyu is an old player, probably as old as Chrissy or Cloudstrife or TaroPie or Mint.  She quitted at the middle of the (really) long wait for the opening of Tower 8.  She may have gotten bored because of the lack of updates or the lack of players, or for other reasons which she only knew.  Oh how Nutiki misses her, one of the very nice "powerful" people in PG who made friends with Nutiki (a simple player).  And also, the LazyCat there is actually RageCat's mule.  RageCat is also an old player, one or probably the most powerful player during his/her time.  He/She is like Kanzo, silent but very diligent.  He/She never stops until he/she finishes a goal.  Also, a dear friend of Nutiki.  And Tuna is there too, and ManOfHemp, and Jrog :)

Numero Dos:
As you can see, the only person left unstunned here is Lemux.  And thanks to him, we weren't finished off by those irksome scorpions before we even get to harvest our hardwork during the boss fight.  Well, this is just funny :)

Numero Tres:
Here's another one.  Basically, same with the previous photo.  With Smallyy and Nutiki having stoned, Hephaestus was left to battle the Basilisk (oh poor Hep).  Hep never left and stayed with us until we get unstoned.  Real friend, that's what he is.

Numero Quatro:
The three of us, Safron, Tuna and I were rolling in Tower 3 when we stumbled upon Lunatiq.  We teamed her and then we continued.  When we reached this spot, a spot near the boss (notice the oak tree there), Safron suddenly received a phone call.  And so we stayed there.  Safron's phone call was getting really long.  The other three of us protected each other and also Safron from the two leopards.  Okay, so we overkilled the leopards (might have killed them for more than 15 times) but Safron still isn't returning.  Well, one of us might have realized that she'll no longer return so we rolled.  Poor Safron, but we have to go on too :))

Numero Cinco:
The famous AFK line! With friends (from left to right), Smallyy, Tuna, Hoyeen, Lavicki, Jumpjump, Marisa, and I.

There they are!  I still have lots to share but for now, I shall end this by giving away five.  Ciao!

Looking Back: PG life before this blog came into existence

Nutiki started out as a semi-real novice.  By semi-real novice, I mean that she never played an MMORPG before Puppet Guardian and to add to that, she never played a game that involves having to fight monsters or anything of that sort.  But despite that, she already knew how the game works because she's been watching her sisters (Kasoy and Heiress) play it.  So when she started, she practically knew how to move, where to go, what to make, and basically what the game is all about.

As a newbie, she didn't have to ask other players on the things she didn't know because there were her sisters whom she could always ask.  She didn't make friends at first but time goes by and she couldn't escape the very nature of the game, and that is to make friends.  So she finally did.

I can still remember the very first time she went to tower with a bunch of teammates (although if I remember it right, she didn't initiate the formation of the team, she was simply invited into it).  It was a relatively large team in Tower 2.  They rolled, with Nutiki always staying in the background, trying to blend in with the crowd.  When they reached the boss, the Basilisk, (Nutiki not having been able to fight the dangerous lizard before that) panicked.  She (or I) didn't know what to do.  While the others were preparing to fight, Nutiki was there, panicking, wanting to go to the lobby but she didn't.  Not knowing what to do, she then asked her sister (who is Kasoy) to take her place at that moment.  Well, it was really funny, that time.  My sisters were teasing me (in a good and funny way).  So then, my sister made Nutiki fight the boss together with her teammates.

In the long run, by having to play frequently Nutiki somehow learned how to handle fights.  And that was good, for her to survive in the world of Puppet Guardian.

Nutiki in a bronze helmet and sentry clothes with some of her first friends: Tomcat, Chrissy, Marisa, etc.  These were the times when she thought the sentry clothes were the cutest outfit in the world of PG  :)

P.S.  You can see Chrissy there, stylish ever since.  And Tomcat too is still active when this picture was taken.  And Marisa, wearing the hemp hat and down tuxedo which she still wears now except for the change in color.
